Hyderabad: With the departure of three more flights on Sunday, the total number of Haj pilgrims reaching Holy Mecca from Hyderabad Embarkation Point has reached 4,760.
The third batch of pilgrims was flagged off by Telangana ACB Director General A.K. Khan. Addressing the pilgrims, Khan narrated his experiences while performing Haj. He urged the pilgrims to spend their entire time on prayers. He also requested them to pray for rains in the entire
country, especially Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
Earlier in the day, two flights of AP pilgrims were flagged off by MLC Mohammed Ahmed Shareef.
The 15th batch of Haj pilgrims would leave for their holy journey at 9.20 AM on Monday. The batch comprises of 285 pilgrims from neighbouring Karnataka State.
The 16th batch of pilgrims will depart at 6.20 AM on 8th September.
