Akbar Owaisi demands action against erring MLAs

Hyderabad, March 10, 2015 (Agencies)  MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi has demanded stern action against the MLAs who disrespected the National Anthem during the Governor's address in the State Legislative Assembly on March 7.

Speaking in the House on Monday, Akbaruddin Owaisi said everyone must respect the National Anthem and National Flag and anyone causing disrespect have no right to live in the country. Reacting to a reference made



by Congress MLA Sampath Kumar wherein he alleged that some leaders, who are demanding action, never hoisted National Flag in their party premises, he asked him to name those leaders and parties. He said those not having respect for the National Anthem are betrayers of the entire nation.

The MIM leader appealed Speaker S Madhusudan Chary to take serious action against all the MLAs who disrespected the National Anthem.
