New Delhi: A week after Mohammad Akhlaq's tragic death in Dadri, IAF has shifted his family to an Air Force station in Delhi.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the family was moved to Subroto Park in Delhi on Monday night.
On October 3, IAF Chief Marshal Arup Raha had said that they were looking at the possibility of moving the family to an IAF area soon.
Meanwhile, the
district administration has registered cases against five people, including Union minister Mahesh Sharma, BJP legislator Sangeet Som, BSP leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui, Omji Maharaj of the Hindu Raksha Dal and Parvez for violation of prohibitory orders.
Akhlaq’s elder son, Mohammad Sartaj is a corporal-rank technician in the IAF. Mohammad Akhlaq was lynched to death by an angry mob in Dadri for allegedly consuming beef.
