New Delhi:  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has become the second most-followed Indian politician on microblogging site Twitter with over six million followers.

He crossed the six-million mark late Wednesday.

"And ... @ArvindKejriwal crossed the 6 million mark on @twitter," AAP's social media chief Ankit Lal tweeted.

The Aam Aadmi Party chief trails Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has over 16 million followers on Twitter.




style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">Both the leaders are widely known for utilising the power of social media.

Chief Minister Kejriwal, in his early days as a politician, used Twitter to garner support and donation from his followers and fans. He later started using it as a medium to connect with people.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is also among the most-followed Indian politicians on the microblogging world.
