Chandigarh, December 8, 2014 (Agencies) It was a testing journey for the passengers on board the Jammu-Delhi Rajdhani express on Sunday night when the security forces detained the train and scanned it following specific threat inputs. The train was stopped at Pathankot station, Punjab and around 150 police personnel searched the train extensivley after receving a threat alert from the Jammu and Kashmir police.
Three DSP-rank officers, one SP-rank officer, and personnel from the Government Railway Police
(GRP) searched the Rajdhani express. When questioned about the threat input, the SSP said, "There was threat input. I cannot share more details." Not divulging much details, the SSP added that the army was also informed about the threat alert.
To detect the presence of explosives on the train, a dog squad, a bomb disposal squad and other necessary equipments were put into action. The passengers were aksed to de-board the train at Pathankot, while the security personnel went ahead with the checking.
