Hyderabad, December 13,2014 (Agencies) : Labour & Employment Department today issued a notification to be published in Gazette declaring all the five National Festivals and four Holidays as holidays with wages for 2015 Calendar year.

The employees working in shops and establishments in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are eligible to get paid holidays on these



holidays, according to a press release.

National holidays include Republic Day (January 26), May Day (May 1), Telangana Formation Day (June 2), Independence Day (August 15) and Gandhi Jayathi (Oct 2). Festival Holidays include Sankranthi (January 14), next day of Mahasivarathri (February 18), Ramzan (July 18) and next day of Dasara (October 23).
