Centre announces bonus to its non-gazetted employees

New Delhi: The central government has announced an "ad-hoc bonus" equivalent to 30 days emoluments to its non-gazetted employees ahead of the festive season. According to a notification by the Finance Ministry, the Central Government employees in Group C and D and all non-gazetted employees in Group B would get the ad-hoc non-productivity linked



bonus.

The notification further said the payment of ad-hoc bonus will also be admissible to eligible employees of central para-military forces and armed forces. The order will be deemed to be extended to the employees of Union Territory Administration which follows Central Government pattern of emoluments and are not covered by any other bonus or ex-gratia scheme.
