Centre has deployed
teams of anti-terror commando force, the National Security Guard (NSG), in
three locations in Mumbai and another team has been kept ready in Delhi to be
flown if required after two school children in Maharashtra's Uran claimed they
saw suspicious looking men near a naval base. A high alert has already been
sounded along the Maharashtra coast. A search operation is being conducted by
multiple agencies.

Rahul Sinha said in a statement that as per the reports, five to six persons
were sighted in Pathan suits and appeared to be carrying weapons
and backpacks.
Some reports said, they were in military uniform. He added that Indian Navy's
Western Naval Command expeditiously reacted to the situation by first initiating
an alert and informing all coastal security stakeholders. No person has been
located or apprehended till now.
Late yesterday night, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has through tweets appealed the people not to panic and situation is under close vigil. The State & Central forces are working in close coordination. He further tweeted that the NSG have been deployed in three key spots in Mumbai.
