Chief of Air Staff of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka yesterday, May 1, for a four-day official visit to the island nation.

Air Chief Marshal Chaudhuri is scheduled to call on commanders of the Sri Lanka Air Force and Sri Lanka Navy today. Mr. Chaudhari will interact with



students at the National Defence College where he will present books worth 1 crore Lankan rupees as a gift from the Government of India. 

The Indian Air Chief Marshal will also meet Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe later today. He will pay respects at the Indian Peace Keeping Forces memorial.
