CM KCR adopts Narsannapeta village

Hyderabad:  Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday announced that he would adopt another village, Narsannapeta, in Jagdevpur mandal of Medak district. He announced this while taking part in a grama sabha in the village which falls in Gajwel constituency. He assured people that he would develop the village in all respects along with Yerravelli village, which he had adopted earlier. He said that while villagers should help in development of their village, he would provide all the support possible from the government’s side.

The Chief Minister declared that the construction of double bedroom houses would be taken up simultaneously at



Yerravelli and Narsannapeta villages and assured the poorest of the poor that they would benefit from the construction of the houses. He promised that every possible effort would be made to take up road widening works and to help the village remain clean and green. He also said that agriculture would be promoted in the village.

KCR asked officials concerned to conduct soil tests in the village and advice farmers on crops to be sown. “This step will prove handy for the farming community to adopt better farm practices,” the Chief Minister said. Government special officer Hanumanth Rao, ZPTC Ramchandram, sarpanch Bal Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
