Counting of votes for Bye- Elections for Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Meghalaya, Manipur and Mizoram is underway. Elections were held on saturday for 2 Lok Sabha and 5 Assembly seats in these states.

Polling was held for Ratlam-Jhabua Lok Sabha seat and Dewas Assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh and Warangal Lok Sabha seat in Telangana. Our Bhopal correspondent reports that postal ballots will



be counted first.

There will be 23 rounds of counting in Ratlam-Jhabua and 22 rounds in Dewas Assembly segment.

Polling was also held for Nongstoin Assembly Constituency in Meghalaya, Thangmeiband and Thongju Assembly Constituencies in Manipur, Aizawl North - III assembly constituency in Mizoram on Saturday.
