Defence Ministry clears purchase of Russian Air Defence Missile Systems

Defence Acquisition Council, DAC, has cleared the purchase of an estimated 40,000 crore rupees Russian S-400 air defence missile systems. It also gave the go-ahead to other projects worth over 25,000 crore Rupees.
