A Delhi court has
sent Shoaib Hasan, the third accused arrested in connection with the alleged
Pakistan espionage case, to an 11-day police custody. He was arrested in Delhi
after being brought from Jodhpur and produced before the court Friday. Police
said, Hasan was involved in the espionage ring in which Pakistan High
Commission staffer Mehmood Akhtar, said to be the kingpin working for ISI, was
detained by police for alleged possession of sensitive defence documents.

was in touch with Akhtar for the last couple of years and had visited the
neighbouring country six times. It said, Hasan was to be confronted with two
other arrested men to unearth the larger conspiracy.
The other two accused were arrested on charges of sharing of sensitive information and defence documents and deployment details of BSF along the Indo-Pak border. The duo were sent to a 12-day police custody on Thursday.
