Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's protest towards Parliament
on Monday. YS Jagan and his supporters were stopped from marching to
Parliament and have been taken into preventive custody. The YSRCP chief along with thousands of party activists staged a dharna to demand special category status for Andhra Pradesh.Speaking to the media before the police detained him, the YSRCP chief

issue for a day in AP and his party did not raise the issue in
Parliament in the last one year," he said.He further said that now the question is the credibility of the
parliament and the Special status promise was made on the floors of
Parliament by BJP and Congress, he added.Protesting against the arrest, YS Jagan staged a sit-in before the Parliament street police station.Later, he was forcibly evicted from there and shifted to the police station
