Gala wedding of Salman's sister today in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, November 18, 2014 (Agencies) Bollywood’s top stars have booked their calendars to attend the gala wedding of Salman Khan’s youngest sister Arpita Khan at the opulent Falaknuma Palace Hotel here on Tuesday. Salman has gone all-out to give Arpita her dream wedding to Aayush Sharma, son of politician Anil Sharma, and has booked the entire hotel, which was once the residence of sixth Nizam Mir Mahboob Ali Khan, at a whopping Rs 2 crore for two days, estimatedly.

Each of the 60 luxuriously furbished rooms at Falaknuma, or “mirror of the sky” in Urdu, costs Rs 40,000 per night, while the rate of the Nizam’s room is an exorbitant Rs 5 lakh a day. Salman has also made arrangements to fly in the entire make up team, wedding



planners, caterers and decoration team for the mehendi and sangeet from Mumbai.

The wedding has created a lot of anticipation in cine circles and a total of 400 celebrity guests are expected to arrive at the hotel by Tuesday morning. The guest list includes Bollywood’s biggest stars—Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Shahrukh broke his eight-year silence with Salman by visiting Arpita in Mumbai and offering her his best wishes.

There will also be Tollywood representatives like actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi at the wedding. President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Sonia Gandhi have also been invited.
