GHMC polls may be held in January 2016: Telangana CM

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday indicated that elections for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation might be held in the month of January 2016.

Addressing the TRS Legislature Party meeting at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, KCR asked the party cadre to gear up for



forthcoming GHMC elections which might be held in January next year.

He also said that the chances of TRS retaining Warangal Lok Sabha in by-elections were 67%. Similarly, TRS has 52% chances of winning Narayankhed Assembly seat where by-elections got necessitated due to the demise of sitting MLA P. Kista Reddy.
