Search giant Google on Thursday created a special doodle to celebrate its 20th birthday.
The doodle, comprising a 1.37 minute long video, shows Google's journey from the start till 2018, and also thanked users for their support during the journey.
Taking to its site, Google wrote, "Twenty (ish) years ago, two Stanford Ph.D. students launched a new search engine with a bold mission to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful."
They went on to add, "Though much has
changed in the intervening years—including now offering Search in more than 150 languages and over 190 countries—Google is still dedicated to building products for everyone."
"Today’s video Doodle takes a stroll down memory lane by exploring popular searches all over the world throughout the last two decades."
Since 1998, Google kept its site fresh by creating different variations of its logo inspired by cultural events, icons and phenomenon such as Pac-Man, birth of hip-hop etc.
