Hyderabad, December 13, 2014 ( PTI) Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan on Friday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and briefed him about the situation in the two states.

"Both the states are doing very well. Law and order has been maintained very well by both the states. Both the chief ministers are doing very well. I think problems do not exist," the Governor told reporters after meeting the Prime Minister in his Parliament House office. Asked about the issues



discussed in the meeting, he said it was a routine meeting.

"It was a routine meeting. Various issues were discussed with the Prime Minister," he said. Queried on Telangana and Andhra Pradesh conducting separate intermediate public exams, Narasimhan said interests of children will not be affected.

"Exams are being conducted. Children will not suffer. Interests of children will be protected. Nobody will suffer because of examinations," he noted.
