Chennai: The Indian space agency has announced that it would launch GSAT-6 communication satellite on August 27.
Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) will launch the satellite with the heavier rocket geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle
(GSLV).
The rocket carrying the communication satellite would weigh about 2,100 kg which will be blasted off at 4:52 pm on August 27.
The launch will be carried out from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, ISRO said.
