Haj pilgrim from Nizamabad dies in Madina

Hyderabad: A lady Haj pilgrim from Nizamabad, Ahmadi Begum, passed away soon after reaching Madina from Makkah last night. She was 73.

As soon as she entered the holy city of Madina she collapsed and immediately shifted to hospital where she died. She had gone on pilgrimage along with her son Samiuddin on 2nd September and was scheduled to return to



Hyderabad on 14th October.

Special Officer Telangana State Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor condoled her death and prayed for her soul to rest in peace.

Meanwhile, over 2,000 Hajis have reached Madina  from Makkah, from where they will start returning to Hyderabad from October 14. They all are well and healthy and are busy in prayers, he said.
