HC hearing in GHMC poll on Thursday

Hyderabad: The High Court has adjourned the hearing to Thursday on a petition pertaining to conduct of elections for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). When the case came up for hearing on Monday, the Telangana Government informed the HC that it has already begun the process of delimitation of GHMC



wards.

It sought some more time from the court to give possible dates for conducting the polls. However, the court granted four days time to the government and adjourned the next hearing to April 16 (Thursday). The State Government had sought a time of 249 days to conduct the polls.
