Hyderabad: In all, 29 more deaths attributed to heat wave conditions were reported from across the State in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 400. According to reports, six persons in Warangal; four each in Nalgonda, Karimnagar and Khammam; three each in Medak, Nizamabad and Rangareddy, and one person in Mahabubnagar died due to sunstroke.

Hanamkonda, Khammam and Ramagundam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 45 degree Celsius in the



State, while the city sizzled at 41.5 degree Celsius. The Meteorological Department issued a warning that the severe heat wave conditions would prevail across Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda for the next two days.

Nizamabad recorded 44.4 degree Celsius, Adilabad 44.3 degree Celsius, Mahabubnagar 42.2 degree Celsius, Medak 41.2 degree Celsius and Hakimpet recorded the least of 39.5 degree Celsius.
