Indigo commences operations between Chennai and Jaffna with daily flights

India’s top airline, Indigo, has commenced operations between Chennai and Jaffna with daily flights between the two cities. The inaugural flight arrived at Jaffna International Airport yesterday with 52 passengers and departed back to Chennai with 75 passengers. 

With the



commencement of this flight service, connectivity is expected to further improve between the Jaffna and Chennai. Earlier, in December 2022, the flight connectivity on this sector was commenced with Alliance Air, which received much enthusiasm from people on both sides.
