Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is looking at doubling the number of missions in the next five years to an average of 12. ISRO's Scientific Secretary Dr. YVN Krishna Murthy gave this information during a seminar in 'Make in India Week' in Mumbai yesterday. He said, at present, the average is six
launches per year.
Dr. Krishna Murthy said ISRO has been providing hand-holding support to Indian industry and more than 500 industries work with them. He said, more than the direct business from ISRO, the partners benefit from monetising their association with the organisation.
