Appointed as scientist in the AH-64E combat fighter helicopter unit of the American Army, Monark Sharma, a Jaipur-based boy will be fetching a huge salary of 1.2 crore rupees. His new role in the US Army will include taking care of design, inspection, manufacturing and maintenance of fighter helicopters.
Monark Sharma’s career began as junior research scientist in the mass communication department of NASA in 2013. Prior to that, he participated in Moon Baggi Project in 2011 and Luna Boat in 2012 at NASA which proved to be the turning points in his story. His team won prestigious positions in both projects. Sharma was then offered a job and green card by NASA.
As reported , Monark Sharma later joined the US army in May, 2016 when he was also awarded American citizenship. Serving
the American army, he bagged 2 awards — Army Service Medal and Safety Excellence Award — within a few months of joining. Now he has been assigned the role of scientist in the AH-64E combat fighter helicopter unit of the American Army.
Presently travelling in India, Monark Sharma is the son of a government employee hailing from Rajasthan. The boy is addressing students in educational institutions in India, talking to them about leadership. It was quoted as Sharma saying,
I may not have gotten the opportunity to serve in the Indian armed force but all my moves in the US were intended to bring pride for my country. Here I am reaching out to my fellow Indian students to inspire them that anyone can attain success in life with sheer hard work.
