A delegation of joint opposition from Jammu and Kashmir will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today on Kashmir crisis. The delegation led by former Chief Minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah will apprise the Prime Minister of the ground situation in the state. The delegation will include CPI-M MLA Mohammed Yusuf Tarigami, state Congress President G A Mir, senior leaders of National Conference and some Independent MLAs.
The state is in the grip of a prolonged spell of protests and violence since the gunning down of a militant commander by security

They said, the delegation will also emphasize the need to initiate a dialogue with all stakeholders to bring an end to the unrest.
The delegation met President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday seeking political solution of the unrest in the Valley. It also submitted a memorandum to the President.
