Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said promoting Lok Adalat, will lessen
the burden of judiciary and the quality of justice will go up.
Speaking
on Legal Service Day in New Delhi today , Mr Modi said Lok Adalat can reach out
to help the common man who hopes to get justice from the judicial system.
He
said the delivery of justice is a very challenging task, and the concept of Lok
Adalat
has an important role to play in it. Mr Modi said more and more people
must know what Lok Adalat is about.
The
Prime Minister said with legal awareness, there must also be institutional
awareness. Mr Modi said people must know the systems that are in place.
Saying he believes in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, the prime minister asserted that with these two there must also be Sabka Nyay.
