Modi greets Rahul Gandhi on his 45th birthday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on his 45th birthday. This is the first time the premier has sent out such greetings to the heir apparent of the Nehru­Gandhi dynasty. The greeting comes at a time when Mr. Gandhi has taken repeated swipes



at him in the past two months.

Tweeting birthday greetings to people of prominence has been a routine with Mr. Modi but Mr. Gandhi had till date not made it to his list. He also sent out a similar message to Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh.
