Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of a network of all-weather roads
to Chardham in Dehradun today.The 12,000 crore rupee project of the Ministry of
Road Transport and Highways will allow uninterrupted access for pilgrims to the
four Himalayan shrines of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri which
bore the brunt of devastating floods in 2013.

safety, the all-weather roads will have tunnels, bridges and fly-overs.
Mr Modi is also expected to announce several other development projects for the state. He will also address a public meeting at the Parade Ground.Heavy security arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister's visit.
