Nation pays homage to the architect of Indian constitution and Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his 125th birth anniversary today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid rich tribute to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, Dr. Ambedkar is a Vishwa Manav, who devoted his life in service of the poor and marginalised. He said, Dr. Ambedkar believed in the power of education and his economic vision was unique, with a strong emphasis on welfare of the farmer as well as the worker.
Main function will be held in the lawns of Parliament house complex
where political leaders and peoples from different walks of life will pay floral tributes at the statue of Dr. Ambedkar. Functions will also be organized all over the country to remember his contribution to nation building specially in drafting the Constitution.
Congratulating the people on the occasion, Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawar Chand Gehlot said that Babasaheb laid the foundation of social reforms in the country in true sense. The Minister said, people should resolve to strengthen social harmony in the country which will be a true tribute to him.
