National Investigation Agency (NIA) has begun its probe into the Uri terror attack case. The NIA team visited the encounter site in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday in this regard.
Sources said, besides piecing together the sequence of events leading to the terror attack, the NIA is focusing on the combustible substance used by four terrorists to set on fire tents inside the Army
Camp close to the Line of Control on Sunday morning.
Sources said, such incendiary material was used by the terrorists probably for the first time. The attack coincided with the troop re-deployment hinting at intelligence being passed on to the attackers. All security agencies have pooled in their resources to establish the identity of the four terrorists who were killed during the attack.
