The National Investigation Agency, NIA will today interrogate Punjab Superintendent of Police Salwinder Singh in connection with the Pathankot airbase terror attack case.
The NIA had issued summons on Friday to the SP to appear before it today for detailed interrogation.
Singh was allegedly abducted while riding a personal vehicle which was hijacked and later used by the terrorists on the night of 31st of last month. Singh is presently
posted as Assistant Commandant of 75th battalion of Punjab Armed Police.
He was recently shunted as SP (headquarters) of Gurdaspur following allegation of breach of discipline.
According to Sources, there are contradictions in SP's statement and due to which his statement is being verified again and again.
Seven security personnel and six terrorists were killed in the Pathankot attack that started on January 2nd morning.
