Prime Minister
Narendra Modi yesterday said, that there will be no compromise on the issues of
corruption and black money. He said people should not accept such evils as part
of the system and they need to think about the future.
Speaking during the
release of a book on the late veteran BJP leader and former Governor of Goa and
Sikkim Kedarnath Sahni, Mr Modi lamented that moral values have degraded to
such an extent that some people in public life are brazenly supporting
corruption and black money. He said, coming generations will not forgive those
who are betraying the values. The Prime Minister said, there is need to stand
against this mindset to compromise with loss in values.

some people who do not have the courage to fight corruption and society
forgives them but people who become the torch-bearers of evil create a very big
crisis before the nation.
In the book launch event, Mr Modi also recalled that how Sahni gave shelter to numerous Sikh families at his home and mobilised party workers and others to help them during the riots in the wake of Indira Gandhi’s assassination.
Praising Sahni for his probity in public life, Mr Modi said, the life should be spotless if anyone is living for the nation.
