Silicon Valley, San Francisco, US based organisation striving to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among women will now have an India hub with Hyderabad as its headquarters. GIT global sponsors to name a few include Intel, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, Yahoo, WordPress/Automattic, Google, Facebook, Axosoft, Infusionsoft, Battery Ventures, GoDaddy, the release claimed. In the last year, Hyderabad is emerging as a key place for start-ups and entrepreneurship, especially in the IT sector. The Telangana State also established the T-Hub, the country's biggest start-up venture with funding and was opened by Ratan Tata. D N Reddy, Vice Chairman, Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) & Member, University Grants Commission (UGC) and M Adithya Reddy, Educator, E-Governance Expert & Green Energy Promoter are among the Board of Advisors of GITI. Girls in Tech offers a variety of resources and curriculum for members to further their educational and professional aspirations. These programs include Lady Pitch Night, Catalyst Conference, Mentorship Programs, Entrepreneurship, Coding and Design Bootcamps, Hackathons, XChange, Global Classroom, GIT Work and others, said P Sree Divya Vadlapudi, National Managing Director of Girls in Tech India in a press release. Sree Divya is India’s youngest undergraduate researcher with the most number of International publications--Limca Book of Records. Founded in 2007 it has many chapters around the world in Paris, France and Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
