Parliament Ethics Panel issues notice to Rahul Gandhi in Citizenship row

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has been served notice by Parliament Ethics Committee on Monday seeking clarification on whether he had once declared himself a British citizen. 

Arjun Ram  Meghwal,  Member of Parliament Ethics Committee, said a show-cause notice has



been issued to Rahul Gandhi seeking his response on why he declared himself British citizen in documents related to a UK company.

Later, when asked about the show-cause notice seeking his clarification on citizenship  Rahul Gandhi told reporters: ''We will deal with that''.
