Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the Parliament should get the advantage of experience of every Parliamentarian and told the all-party meet that Parliament should function despite differences over certain issues during election time.
Mr. Modi said, one can have differences in a democratic system but the decorum should be maintained. Mr Modi said, this is nation's budget and the Election Commission and Supreme Court have already given their verdict on it.Later, talking to media, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar sought cooperation of the opposition for smooth conduct of proceedings in Parliament during the session.

Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad said, government should not have preponed the budget but now it should not do anything which effects level playing field in the poll bound states. Union Ministers including Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley, Sharad Yadav of JD(U) and AIADMK leader Dr Venugopal were among those attending the meet. TMC and Shiv Sena did not participate.
Meanwhile, another meeting of leaders of political parties in the Lok Sabha convened by Speaker Sumitra Mahajan is underway in Parliament House. Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, P Karunakarn of CPI(M), Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav of RJD and BJD leader Bhartruhari Mahtab among others are attending the meeting.
