Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Pradhanmantri Grameen Awas Yojna, an ambitious housing scheme meant for rural poor in Agra.Under this scheme, the government will provide pucca houses to all the rural poor of the country till 2022.
Addressing a massive rally on this occasion in Agra Mr Modi said those who are most deprived in the society will get the benefit first under this scheme. He said the new houses will be equipped with PM Ujjawala Yojna.On demonetisation of high value currency notes Mr. Modi said the initiative he took to cleanse the economy from black money has the most



blessings of middle class and poor. He said due to it, our economy will come out with more shining. Mr. Modi said more than five lakh crore cash has been deposited in banks since last ten days.
Mr. Modi acknowledged that people got some pain due to it but it is in fact punishment for those who had accumulated huge black money. He thanked people for bearing the pain of note ban.
Union Rural Development minister Narendra Singh Tomar said in Agra, the Pradhanmantri Grameen Awas Yojna, with 81000 crore rupees will be separate from Indira Awas Yojna
