Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive Madrid, Spain on a two day visit this evening in second leg of his four Europeans nation visit.
During his stay, he will meet the top leadership of the country and discuss issues of mutual interests. Our correspondent covering the Prime Minister's visit to Spain reports that tomorrow Mr Modi will also call on King of Spain - King Felipe VI.
During his stay in Madrid, the Prime Minister will be discussing ways to enhance bilateral engagement, especially in economic sphere, and cooperation on international issues of common concern, particularly in combating terrorism.
Mr Narendra Modi
will also meet top Chief Executive Officers of the Spanish industry and encourage them to partner in the ‘Make in India’ initiative of his government. Prime Minister's visit to the country is expected to take relations between the two sides to a new level in various fields such as political, strategic, defence, energy and people to people contacts.
There are number of agreements are expected to be inked during Mr Modi’s tour. Spanish reputation in the fields like renewable energy, high speed rail, infrastructure, civil aviation, water waste management and air space management is well known and New Delhi will make all efforts to get benefit of this.
