Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from today, he will inaugurate the 8th edition of 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit 2017' along with series of other programs.
The four-day 'Vibrant Summit Summit will be inaugurated tomorrow at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. Ahead of this Summit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate four different projects today after his arrival.
Mr Modi will first attend stone laying ceremony for the redevelopment of Gandhinagar Railway Station. According to official sources, the project will commence as soon as Mr.Modi performs groundbreaking ceremony at the railway station. The project include a face-lift of Gandhinagar railway station at a cost of 250 crore rupees. A five-star hotel will be built up on top of the Railway station to accommodate delegates
visiting Gujarat capital.
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show' today. The Global Trade Show is spread across 1.5 lakh sq meters of area, where over 15 lakh people are expected to visit during next five days. He will also inaugurate country's first International Exchange being set up by the BSE at GIFT city in Gandhinagar.
Prime Minister will also inaugurate Nobel Prize Series exhibition at Gujarat Science city near Ahmedabad. This exhibition will feature works of nine Nobel laureates from across the world, who are invited by the Gujarat government to be a part of the Vibrant Summit. After the inauguration the Prime Minister Modi will also take part in the Roundtable meeting with all the invited Nobel Prize winners, including India-born Dr. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan.
