PM Modi's assets grew by Rs.32 lakh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assets grew by Rs 32.22 lakh in 2015-16, compared to the previous fiscal.His assets are valued at around Rs 1.73 crore as on March 31, 2016, compared to Rs 1.41 crore reported in 2014-15.
The details of Modi’s assets were made public on the Prime Minister’s official website. So far, only 13 of the 79-member council of ministers have submitted the asset details for 2015-16.
For 2014-15, asset details of ten ministers, including Home Minister Rajnath Singh, are still not available, while all the ministers had declared their assets as in 2013-14. It has been made mandatory for all the ministers to declare their assets every year.

posted on the website, Modi had Rs 89,700 cash in hand, while his bank balance rose to Rs 2.09 lakh from Rs 1.33 lakh. His fixed deposits grew from Rs 30.72 lakh to Rs 51.27 lakh. However, his post office savings account has shown a decline from Rs 5.44 lakh to Rs 3.28 lakh.
Modi, who has written over a dozen books, has also shown Rs 12.35 lakh as royalty to books that he received in 2015-16. While, he has listed Rs 73.36 lakh as his movable assets, the current market value of the property he owns has been shown as Rs 1 crore.
His jewellery collection has also not shown an increase — he has four gold rings weighing around 45 grams valued at Rs 1.27 lakh, an increase from Rs 1.18 lakh.
