Nizamabad: The Union government has been giving loans in non-agriculture sectors to provide livelihood for small businessmen under Prime Minister Mudra Yojana (PMMY) scheme, said Nizamabad Zilla Parishad Chairman D Raju.
ZP Chairman and Collector Yogita Rana here on Monday launched the Mudra Yojana Scheme at Rajeev Gandhi auditorium in Nizamabad city. Speaking on the occasion, ZP Chairman said the
scheme would be very helpful to small and medium scale businessmen.
Yogita Rana said the Mudra loans were being provided in three categories: Shishu, Kishore and Tarun. Under Shishu category, loans will be issued up to Rs 50,000.
Congress MLC Aakula Lalitha, Nizamabad Urban MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta, Nizamabad Mayor Aakula Sujatha, Lead Bank Manager M Ramakrishna Rao participated in the programme.
