When Lok Sabha elections were taking place, my opponents used to ask - who knows Modi outside Gujarat: PMPrime Minister Narendra Modi addresses a rally to seek support for the BJP candidates in Rohini amid unprecedented security on Tuesday.The PM held his first rally on Saturday at CBD grounds near Karkardooma court complex followed by another in Dwarka on February 1.On February 4, PM Narendra Modi will another rally in south Delhi for his party.Following intelligence inputs of terror threats during Delhi elections, a tight security blanket has been put in place for today's rally.Over 5,000 personnel, including the officials of Special Protection Group (SPG), which looks after the Prime Minister's Security, have been deployed at service to prevent any untoward incident during the rally.SPG and Delhi Police have made elaborate arrangements at all the rally venues of PM Modi.According to a Delhi Police official, three-layered check points have been set up for every visitor at the venue. Visitors will be first checked at least 50 metres away from the ground. The second and third check points will be at the entry point.Apart from manual checking, the visitors will be checked through hand held metal detectors, door frame metal detectors and baggage scanner machines.The SPG officials will take over the charge on stage, an hour before, from where the Prime Minister will address supporters. A limited numbers of leaders will accompany Modi while he is delivering his speech.The grounds are being kept under the watch of the CCTV cameras. Snipers including personnel of the elite National Security Guard have been deployed at the high-rise building near the grounds.Police have requested the leaders to advise their supporters not to park their vehicles near the rally venues.Delhi will go the polls on February 7 and the results will be announced on February 10.
