Pranab Mukherjee hosts banquet in honour of Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina

President Pranab Mukherjee today hosted a banquet in the honour of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Rashtrapati bhawan.

Those present at the banquet included Prime Minister Narendra Modi, members of the Union Cabinet, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and West Bengal Chief Minister



Mamata Banerjee. 

The banquet was preceded by a cultural programme at Ashoka Hall of Rastrapati Bhavan. Earlier in the day, Ms Hasina met the President at Rashtrapati Bhawan. 

Ms Hasina arrived on Friday on a four-day visit to India.
