President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Mumbai today to address the special convocation of the Mumbai University. He will confer honorary D Lit. to pioneer of Green Revolution, M S Swaminathan at the convocation ceremony.
Beside the President, Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Education Minister
Vinod Tawde and Vice-Chancellor of Mumbai university Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh would grace the occasion which coincides with 160th anniversary of the university. The President will also release postage stamp on this occasion.
Mr Mukherjee will also address the India Today Conclave as the Chief Guest before returning to Delhi.
