President Pranab Mukherjee arrives in Chennai

President Pranab Mukherjee arrived in Chennai last night on a two-day visit. He was given a warm reception at the airport by Tamil Nadu acting Governor Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy, senior bureaucrats and defence officials.

The President is scheduled to present Standards



to the Indian Air Force's 125-Helicopter Squadron and Colours to the Mechanical Training Institute at Tambaram Air Force Station this morning. Later, he will inaugurate the Women's Indian Association centenery celebrations at the Theosopical Society of India premises in the city.
