S Jaishankar says multilateralism can be strengthened by more creative diplomacy

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said, multilateralism can be strengthened by more creative diplomacy and plurilateral understanding. He also highlighted that the global political rebalancing is underway and made a case for greater Western flexibility while participating in the Munich Security Conference, MSC in Germany.

The two day Conference of the world's leading forum for debate on international security policy began in Munich, Germany



yesterday.

Ahead of the conference, Mr. Jaishankar met MSC Chairman, Wolfgang Ischinger. He also met Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Armenia and Defence Minister of Portugal.

Mr Jaishankar also met the US Ambassador to the United Nations Kelly Craft. He said in a tweet that working closely on global issues is an integral part of India's strategic partnership with the US. He also tweeted about his meeting with President of Germany, Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
