Saichen soldier Lance Naik Hanamanthappa's health condition is critical

Condition of Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad continues to be critical at the Army's Reserach and Referral Hospital in New Delhi. In a release, the Defence Ministry said, he continues to remain critical with evidence of oxygen deprivation to the brain. There is also evidence of pneumonia in his both the lungs. 

His multi-organ dysfunction state continues unabated. Condition



of Lance Naik Hanamanthappa was reviewed by the treating team comprising of Critical Care specialists, HoD Dept of Medicine, Senior Nephrologist and the Senior Neurologist and a panel of experts from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. 

The Lance Naik was miraculously found alive after remaining buried under huge mass of snow for six days at Siachen Glacier.
