Hyderabad: Six new cases of swine flu were detected in Hyderabad on Tuesday, officials said. In all, 24 cases were reported in September.
Dr D Sri Harsha, District Surveillance Officer, Hyderabad said that till now as many as 108 close contacts of swine flu patients were administered
with drugs for prevention in the city.
Meanwhile, Dr S V Masood, Deputy Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital took charge as Nodal officer of Swine Flu Centre at Gandhi Hospital in place of Dr Narasimhulu.
Since January, 75 deaths were reported in Gandhi Hospital alone, he told.
