Telangana Bandh partial in Adilabad District

Adilabad: The effect of the bandh called by the Opposition was partial in Adilabad District on Saturday morning as the TSRTC ran its services in most parts of the district except those buses running from Bhainsa and Mancherial depots. At Mancherial and Bhainsa, cadres of the Congress, TDP and BJP prevented the buses from coming out of the depots as they squatted in front of



the gates.

In the district headquarters town, the Opposition was conspicuous by its absence. The TDP had announced staging a dharna in front of the RTC depot at 4 a.m. but went missing.

A handful of Congress cadres did arrive at the bus depot to throw RTC operations out of gear at about 7 a.m. but were bundled into a jeep promptly by the police on bandobast duty.
