Nalgonda April 06,2015 (Agency) The combing operations are still being continued by the Telangana Police for one more terror suspect is believed to be holed up in Nalgonda district where two banned SIMI operatives were killed in an encounter on Saturday.Large Scale operations are taking place at different places in Nalgonda districts and Warangal District with the participation of six police teams and personnel of elite anti-Maoist force Greyhounds.Around Arvapally, the place where the two assailants were known to be hiding after gunning down two policemen at Suryapet town was searched by the armed policemen who checked vehicles on the roads, frisking people at different places. On April 4, the attackers along with a Policeman were killed and two officers were injured in an encounter at Janakipuram.The suspicions grew stronger over the third suspect after a Delhi-Hyderabad AP Express train ticket was found on the body of one of the two operatives of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) indicating the suspect reached Hyderabad on April 2.National Investigation Agency (NIA)
and Sleuths of Intelligence Bureau have also joined the investigations.The SIMI activists were a part of the group of five who escaped from Khandwa jail in Madhya Pradesh in 2013. The slain assailants were identified to be residents of Madhya Pradesh - Mohammed Aijazuddeen and Mohammed Aslam who are said to have been involved in acts of terror in different states, said Telangana's Director General of Police Anurag Sharma.The suspects are said to have been involved in firing on BJP leader Pramod Tiwari in Khandwa, killing of a police constable, dacoities in five banks (Jharsiguda Gramina bank of Odisha, SBI Choppadandy branch and Mini Muthootttu group in Telangana, HDFC Bank, Lucknow) and a finance company in Madhya Pradesh, firing on a judge at Ujjain, blast in Bangalore-Guwahati Express at Chennai Railway Station in May last year, recovery of unexploded bomb IED in train at Rewari, Haryana, blast in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, bomb blast in front of Faraskhana Police Station, near Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati temple, Pune and Dhanbad - Alleppey Express near Kasinga Railway Station of Odisha.
